Fortunately the majority of the pathology that we see is benign in nature however bony pathology may often require some sort of reconstruction to facilitate full dental rehabilitation. This may involve bone grafting and dental implant provision.
More significant pathology may involve several different surgical and medical specialists. We are frequently called upon to manage the adverse effects of radiation therapy and some anti-cancer medications.
